Although I did not make it to the Fishone this year (09), it has been a favorite of mine since 1989. I've never had a bad experience, and on one occasion when it rained unexpecedly they quickly and efficiently set tables and moved everyone indoors with minimum disruption. I've always found the service exquisite and the food incredible. I've sent many first timers here who all rave about the restaurant. Looking forward to 2010!

This was our first visit to the Flying Fishbone and we were given the option of dining inside, on the beach or in the water (waves lap against your feet). We chose the beach and noticed several tables where diners hung their shoes from wine servers! It was a great idea. Our group ordered lobster bisque, which might be improved with a drop of sherry, but otherwise was fine, scallops, the daily fish special - wahoo - and shrimp in bleu cheese sauce. Everything was very good. Our desserts included caramel ice cream rolled in sugared nuts with chocolate sauce - excellent! - and the best chocolate mousse we've ever tasted. The champagne mousse was okay, but next time I'll definitely stick with the chocolate.

We go every year, right on the beach at sunset is the best! The food is great also. We love it!
