not what we expected
We had heard great things about Linda's. We got there on a weekday morning and only one other table was occupied. We were with 2 young children. We ordered as fast as we could, and it took at least 30 minutes to get our food - meanwhile other tables filled and were served before us. So, service, slow... The food - not what we expected either. The pancakes are more like a thin funnel cake. Even though you can custom-order what you want, all of the pancakes come out plain with your "fillings"laying on top of the cake. So we really don't know why it took so long to prepare. Also, the cheese omelette was basically a huge slice of cheese with a little egg around it. Unimpressed.
Terrific!
Been to all the big fancy restaurants. This was delightful. I didn't leave feeling stuffed and uncomfortable. Nice meal, nice restaurant. We will go again!
a favorite that doesn't disappoint
we've been to linda's several times but this was the first time we ever got their pizza. hubby had a small ground beef and i had a small mushroom pizza. small is a 12" pizza. both were excellent with lots of toppings and cheese. we each had a soda and the bill was $21. the other couple we were with each had their tomato soup. they say that it is the best tomato soup they have ever eaten. they followed it with beef sate for her and a ham and cheese on baguette for him. they also got two orders of tomato soup to take back to their timeshare. their bill was $35. it not only a really tasty meal but one of the super low cost dining experiences.
